Founded in 2011, Boo2Bullying provides outreach, education, mentoring, inspiration and support for youth and their families. We are a consortium of artists and visionaries dedicated to transforming this generation into one of strength and empowerment. We seek to eradicate bullying, intolerance and discrimination by educating schools and parents about accepting diversity and giving young people the tools to connect with and positively impact those around them.

School Assemblies and Groups – We facilitate a conversation on issues surrounding bullying nationally. Guest speakers point out helpful ways to stand up, speak out, and raise awareness about all types of bullying. Q & A dialogue between the bullied and the bully is encouraged at assemblies and in smaller groups (e.g., at Palm Springs High School, Boys and Girls Clubs, Tolerance Education Center, Desert Hot Springs Library, Gospel Fellowship Church, and others).

Mothers Against Bullying – Mothers speak out about experiences with their own children, warning signs to look for, and how to advocate for your child and fight back against bullying.

Art Therapy – Mitigating the effects of bullying through arts and crafts, dance, music, and art exhibitions showcasing youth artists. Our new Animation program started as a pilot program with the Palm Springs High School and a summer workshop program with the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs ( 4 week class)

Mentoring in Schools – Working with guidance counselors, we match bullied students with Boo2Bullying mentors who can inspire the students to stay in school, quit drugs and alcohol, seek help, and improve their self image.

Community Outreach – Boo2Bullying participates in festivals and parades, including the US Marines Toys for Tots program, Well in the Desert, Desert Arc, AIDS Walks, PRIDE Festivals, Back2School Backpack Drive, Transgender Community Picnic, and more.
